About The Archive

draft New York Punk family tree by Pete Frame

The Pete Frame Archive is housed at the University of Glasgow library.

The archive consists of a collection of documents (primarily interview transcripts) conducted for the Rock Family Trees tv programmes and an extensive range of rock and pop music magazines dating back to the 1960s.

Documents and transcripts are held in Special Collections and Archives; Pete’s collection of magazines are held (along with some other collections of music magazines) at the University Library Annexe.

These are accessible (by prior appointment) to students, staff of the University and visiting researchers.

Access to both are limited at present due to COVID restrictions.
